Get individualized assistance with your loved one
Sometimes our families just need more help with challenging transitions and decision-making. This may include facilitating essential conversations between family members, home care agency or caregiver selection, connections to valuable resources or regular visitations with a loved one providing "peace of mind" to family members when they are unable to visit themselves.
It can be comforting to have someone partner with you who is outside the emotional landscape of the family, doing research, talking to providers, organizing paperwork, or finding those "needle in a haystack" resources. A go-to person you can turn to when things get overwhelming. Whatever the need, we can customize our services for your family or provide you with vetted referral sources.

Meet Matt Johnson and Kathy Quinby-Johnson
Kathy and Matt have experienced the journey many of their clients are on. Kathy’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2010. Along with her siblings, Kathy has supported her dad as he’s navigated caring for her mom, understanding long term care insurance benefits and seeking memory care. Matt was by his mother’s side while in hospice.

From her experiences, Kathy says, “For the uninitiated, it can be an overwhelming process to digest all the information about the resources and residences available, the types of care and services each does or doesn’t provide, the costs involved, and determining the best fit for their family member. It’s challenging to even know the questions to ask. That’s why we love coming alongside families going through this process. We hope to reduce their stress and offer expertise to help them evaluate the options as they make these important decisions for their loved one.”

Matt is a natural people person and a creative problem solver. From his many years of experience in residential real estate and development, he has fine-tuned his ability to consult with clients by carefully listening to their needs, desires and goals, then providing recommendations that address the key criteria they’ve defined. Matt explains why they chose Senior Care Authority: “It was important to us to find a franchisor that demonstrated excellence, integrity and expertise in the industry, and provided a true value to their clients.”
Kathy’s 30+ years in executive roles have helped her develop a strength in bringing order out of chaos, leading complex projects, multi-tasking and working with a wide range of people. A life-long resident of the Twin Cities, Matt grew up in Minneapolis. Kathy is from Iowa, but has called the Twin Cities home for nearly 30 years. They have two daughters and live Eden Prairie. Both active volunteers in their church, at their children’s school and extra-curricular activities.
Kathy and Matt are both Certified Senior Advisors, which means they’ve made the effort to become further educated on the issues and needs of the senior population. The Johnsons serve clients in Hennepin, Carver, Scott and Dakota counties.
Kathy and Matt are always happy to help with all the necessary services related to assisted living facilities or residential care home for your loved ones in Minneapolis Metro area. You can see assisted living facilities reviews in Minneapolis on their corporate page.
